June 29th.  Sunny with Smoke to the west.  It was a long day.  One 35 minute stint of stop and move 50 feet.  The cluster *&^&^* was cleaning of storm drains on the shoulder of the interstate,  Really.  Could not do that at night.  

They sure do like traffic lights out here.  Screaming along on a divided 4 lane, and whoa, red light.

364 miles took 10 hours to cover.  Sorry Nate, I do not think I could be paid to make this trip again.  Too many towns and traffic to go along with it.

One highlight was a large bear in the commercial area of Sussex, New Jersey.

Really liking the fuel range of the RT.  Still had .8 of a gallon and covered 300 miles.

Tomorrow will be yet another adventure as we will ride into Maryland and more eastern states that hopefully will be less traveled.

 July 1st.   565 miles of interstate.  We changed up our stopping point at the Cracker Barrel.  Decided to push on another 130 miles.  Good choice as tomorrows final leg will only be 4 hours long. Left Pennsylvania to West Virginia to Ohio to Indiana and then Illinois. Not much to say except the rain that showed on radar was not there, tooooo bad.

 June 28th.  Started out FOGGY, again.   Had some short runs in heavy rain, but not horrible.  Unless the cars slowing to 40-45 on an interstate make you a slight bit irritated.  Who me, no, not me. BS, just ask the other Kevin. Stopped at Max's BMW in New Hampshire for a butt break and dealership investigation.  Kevin got to sit on a 23 R1250RT in blue.  Not this Kevin the other Kevin.  It stayed there and we headed a short distance down the road for lunch at Betsy's Kitchen,  Good food. Continued on with the above reported rain.  Not a lot, but enough that the other Kevin's rain gear was not waterproof.  I stayed dry.  Hehe Only 1 picture as my camera got damp and shut down.  Hair dryer blowing in it now.  Fingers crossed it dries out to use later. Today's only picture.  Our start for the day.

June 27th.  A shorter day of 190 miles riding the Acadia peninsula.  Started out FOGGY and 59°, a short rain shower.  Ended up overcast and upper 60's.  Saw the coast line often and lots of TREES. Relaxing ride of mostly mid 40 MPH.  Great gas milage pace. Here is the loop we took.
